Tarpan-I

Tarpan is worshipping our forefathers after

taking a holy dip in the river Ganges during 

Sunshine. Babughat, Kolkata

Immersion

Devi Durga is prepared by clay,decorated and worshiped 

for five days and then immersed in the water with procession.

Since then we never look back to the clay idol that what 

transformations it undergo in water. The fate of clay idol is

then abandoned in the river Ganges.
